Facebook Notice

To my Facebook fans, friends and family, I am deleting my account on Sunday, May 16th. I am very concerned about Facebook identity policies. It is important that I have control over my identity. Upon investigating my online identity data, I have found several misrepresentations based on Facebook profiles and aggregates that do not accurately reflect my real identity. Given the long-term outlook of the value of identity data, I will no longer use Facebook so that I can preserve how my identity is reflected in the world. I hope that is food for thought for you.
